Terms of Service

1. Overview
smarthome.log provides a technical changelog of smart-home solutions. Some content is free, and some content is paid and unlocked per entry using an access code delivered by email.
2. Purchases and Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details. A purchase creates an access code for the selected entry. Prices and availability may change at any time.
3. Pricing and VAT
All prices are shown in EUR and include VAT at 23% (where applicable). If VAT rates change, we may update the prices accordingly.
4. Digital Content and Right of Withdrawal
By purchasing, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access is provided (i.e., when the access code is delivered and the content is made available).
5. Access Codes and Limits
Access codes are emailed after successful payment. Each code is time-limited and has usage limits, including a maximum number of views and devices. Codes are personal and must not be shared.
6. License and Use
Paid content is licensed for personal use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish the paid content, in whole or in part, without prior written permission.
7. Support and Refunds
If you need help or believe you were charged in error, contact support and include your purchase email and entry title. Refunds, if granted, are processed through Stripe.
8. Service Availability
The service is hosted on Vercel. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned or unplanned downtime may occur.
9. Monitoring
We use Vercel monitoring to maintain reliability and diagnose issues. This may include technical logs and performance metrics.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
